This is in reference to Megan Andelloux, a really sharp sex worker advocate who took part in my Speak Up! media training back in April.
Donna Hughes’ mockery “(I couldn’t make this stuff up!)” is so fucking offensive and infuriating.
Yes, Ms Hughes, sex workers are articulate and organized. We also sometimes color outside of the lines. If you’re really a feminist, you should respect what women have to say when they speak up for themselves, even if you disagree.
